The warmth of the wood finishes, the softness of the upholstery, the glow of custom lighting, and the thoughtful layering of textures all work together to create an environment that feels elevated yet approachable. Honoring Culture Through Thoughtful Design

Chula’s proudly reflects Mexican and Latin American heritage, and Kari Campbell Interiors played a key role in translating that story into the physical space. Rather than relying on trends, the design pulls from authentic inspiration, earthy materials, handcrafted details, meaningful artwork, and intentional color palettes that feel timeless and respectful.

From the mezzanine-level rooms named Jalisco and Zacatecas to the custom fixtures and furnishings throughout the restaurant, the design honors tradition while embracing modern comfort.

A Space Built to Evolve

One of the most important aspects of Chula’s design is flexibility. With spaces that function as dining areas at opening and later transition into private event rooms, Kari and her team ensured the restaurant is built for today and the future.

This foresight allows Chula’s to grow organically while maintaining a cohesive guest experience at every stage.
