🌟 Position Summary

The Busser at Chula’s plays a key role in maintaining the flow of our high-energy dining room. By quickly clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, you directly impact our ability to serve guests efficiently while upholding our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

🔥 Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests depart

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room throughout your shift

• Safely transport bus tubs, trays, and glassware to the dish area

• Support servers and service attendants by clearing finished plates during meals

• Monitor and restock service stations with clean linens, silverware, and glassware

• Respond quickly to spills and assist in maintaining restroom cleanliness as needed

• Complete assigned opening, mid-shift, and closing side work duties

• Communicate clearly with the host team regarding table availability

• Maintain a friendly, professional presence while working on the dining floor

• Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards consistently

💪 Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift (up to 8 hours)

• Ability to lift and carry bus tubs and trays weighing up to 40 pounds

• Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping

• Ability to work in a warm, high-energy, and sometimes loud kitchen and dining environment

🌟 Experience

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

• No prior experience required — we’re happy to train candidates with the right attitude and work ethic

• 💵 Compensation

• Starting wage: $13.50/hour
