Design Spotlight: Chula’s Outdoor Terrace Seating

At Chula’s, every design decision is intentional, especially when it comes to how our guests gather, dine, and linger together. Our outdoor terrace seating is more than just patio furniture; it’s an extension of the Chula’s experience, thoughtfully designed to blur the lines between indoors and out.

The tables and chairs featured here are the exact pieces that will be used at Chula’s, both on our outdoor terrace and selectively inside the restaurant. This flexibility allows us to create a seamless indoor–outdoor atmosphere that feels relaxed, vibrant, and welcoming year-round.

Designed to Flow With the Space

Our outdoor terrace features sleek pedestal tables topped with durable HDPE surfaces in a warm coastal gray wood tone. These tables are paired with airy, modern metal chairs in soft yet bold colorways that complement Chula’s Latin-inspired palette. The result is a space that feels fresh, social, and effortlessly comfortable.

What makes these pieces truly special is their versatility. The tables and chairs from the terrace will also be used inside the main dining area, along the opening of the giant accordion style door that opens to the outside. On warm days, doors open and the space expands naturally, creating a cohesive dining environment that feels open, energetic, and connected to the outdoors.

Bringing the Outdoors In

By incorporating the same furniture inside and out, Chula’s main dining room takes on an indoor–outdoor feel that’s rare in the heart of downtown Prior Lake. The consistent materials, colors, and textures help the spaces flow together visually, making the transition from patio to dining room feel natural and intentional.

Whether you’re enjoying a sunny afternoon meal on the terrace or sitting just inside with the doors open and fresh air flowing through, the experience is designed to feel unified, one space, many ways to gather.
