¡Hola Chula’s Family!
We’re thrilled to share an exciting update on the journey to bring Chula’s Mexican-Latin Food & Spirits to the heart of downtown Prior Lake! ⚓️
Over the past few months, we’ve made incredible progress turning our dream into a space where friends, families, and our community can gather over delicious food and drinks. 🌮🍻
From Vision to Reality
Demolition Day back in May was the official start of this adventure. Together, we said goodbye to the old T-Shirts & More building and welcomed the promise of something new. 🚧
Groundbreaking Day soon followed, marking the first step in creating a vibrant new home for Chula’s and other local businesses.
This summer, our concrete footings were poured, setting a strong foundation, literally and figuratively, for everything to come.
Now, as autumn settles in, steel framing is rising, and the vision for our restaurant is taking shape before our eyes. It’s exciting to finally see the walls and spaces where laughter, music, and shared meals will soon fill the air. 🏗️
What’s Coming Next?
In the months ahead, you’ll see:
The mezzanine level being built out, this will become our beautiful private event space, perfect for parties, reunions, and special gatherings.
Design of our iconic murals, painted by the incredibly talented Shawn McCann, bringing vibrant life and culture to our walls. 🎨
Continued progress on the bar, dining areas, and our much anticipated outdoor sidewalk terrace, which will be the perfect spot to soak up sunny days with a margarita in hand.
