The Chula’s story begins inside a warm, bustling kitchen. The air is heavy with spices and the rhythmic clatter of pots and pans. Melodic laughter floats through the room, and children dance between loved ones, their hands busy making (and stealing) delightful treats. In Madre’s small kitchen, a passion for cooking is kindled by love and tradition. Back then, “Chula” was a special name, a term of endearment meaning “cute little girl.” It is a nickname, passed lovingly down through generations. Today, it will embody the belief that life’s greatest celebrations come from the simple things—laughter, heartfelt connections, and the joy of bringing family and friends together to share a delicious meal.
